Hotel technology:Systems that pay for themselves.

We spend every day inside our clients' PMSs, channel managers, booking engines and pricing tools, so we know which ones earn their subscription and which ones cost you bookings. We'll pick the right system for your property, set it up so it works with the others, and tell you plainly when the one you have is fine. We're not a reseller; no vendor pays us.

Choosing and setting up the core systems

PMS, channel manager and booking engine have to work as one: a rate changed once, everywhere, with the booking landing in the right place. We write the shortlist from how your property trades (not the vendor's demo), run the selection, and do or oversee the setup and migration so nothing is lost on cut-over. Where a brand mandates the PMS or central reservation system, we work inside it and fix what sits around it: the channel mapping, the booking path and the reporting.

Pricing software: when it helps, when it doesn't

Pricing tools suggest rates; they don't fix listings, read reviews or know about the wedding on Saturday. For some properties they're worth having under a revenue manager; for many they're a subscription that replaces a judgement call with a worse one. We'll tell you which you are, and run the tool if it stays.

Integrations and data

Our own reporting reads your PMS, channel manager and rate shopping into one month-end report, which is why we can show you the working. Where a system won't talk to another, we build or configure the connection; where it never will, we tell you before you sign.

Automation

Confirmations, pre-arrival messages, rate loading, parity checks, review requests: if a person is doing it by hand every day, it can usually be automated with what you already own. We find the manual work and remove it, so the desk is free for guests.

What we don't do

We don't resell software, take vendor commissions or recommend a system we haven't run. If the answer is "keep what you have", that's the answer.

Questions

What owners ask us

Which PMS suits a 40-room motel?

One built for a small team: cloud, a channel manager and booking engine that come with it or connect cleanly, trust accounting if you need it, and a price that doesn't climb with every add-on. The shortlist depends on how you trade; we'll write it from your data, not from a demo.

Do we need pricing software if we have you?

Usually not. Our revenue manager and our own models do what the tool does, plus everything it doesn't. Where a tool is already paid for and working, we run it rather than replace it.

How long does a channel manager swap take?

Two to four weeks done properly: mapping every rate and room type, a parallel run, the OTA reconnections, and a check of every channel after cut-over. Done in a weekend, it costs you a month of parity errors.

Can you connect our website to our PMS?

Yes. A booking engine that writes straight into the PMS, with rates and availability from the same source as the OTAs, is the first thing we check and the most common fix.

Do you work with our existing vendors?

Yes, with our own logins. We know the Australian systems well; see Partners for the ones we hold accreditations in.

Is technology included in the pricing tiers?

Advice is included in every tier. Selection, migration and build work is quoted as a project before it starts.

What happens next

  1. You pick a time for a call as soon as you send this.
  2. After the call, you send 12 months of figures (we'll show you how).
  3. You get your revenue review and a 90-day plan, then decide.
