RMS Cloud:Revenue management inside the system you already run.

RMS Cloud runs a large share of the motels, serviced apartments and regional hotels we work with, so our revenue managers are in it every day: rates and restrictions by room type, channel mapping, rate plans, and the reports we build the month end from. This page is what that looks like.

What we do in RMS every day

  • Set nightly rates and restrictions by room type and rate plan, with the reason recorded.
  • Keep rate plans, packages and derived rates tidy so a change in one place flows everywhere.
  • Map channels and check parity from the RMS side as well as the OTA side.
  • Pull the reports the month-end pack is built from, by day, channel and segment.
  • Load the 12-month rate calendar for Revenue setup + check-in clients.

Setup and migration help

Moving to RMS, or cleaning up an instance set up in a hurry: room types and rate plans structured for pricing, channel connections mapped once and properly, a parallel run before cut-over, and a check of every channel after. Quoted as a project.

Common mistakes we fix

Derived rates that stopped deriving; packages priced below the room alone; a channel mapped to the wrong rate plan; restrictions left on from last season; reports nobody reads because the segments were never set up.

Questions

What RMS users ask us

Do you replace RMS's own pricing features?

No. We use them. RMS holds the rates; our revenue manager and our models decide them. Where RMS has a dynamic pricing feature you've paid for, we run it inside the rules we agree with you.

Do we need the premium tier?

Usually not. Rate control, channel mapping and reporting are in the standard product. We'll tell you if a module would pay for itself.

How do you get access?

You create a named user for us with the permissions we list on the onboarding call. Access can be revoked in a minute, and every change we make is in the RMS audit log.

Tell us about your property and pick a time to talk. We'll show you where revenue is slipping, across your rates, channels and reviews, and what we'd change first.

What happens next

  1. You pick a time for a call as soon as you send this.
  2. After the call, you send 12 months of figures (we'll show you how).
  3. You get your revenue review and a 90-day plan, then decide.
